I just wanted to take a moment to let you know that I really love your style of drawing. It has a hint of Oriental art line work in it; something seen in Chinese and Japanese calligraphy or watercolors, though you express it with a very personal unique style. Perhaps most importantly, your style contains a care filled with patience which could only come from loving what you do and devoting yourself fully to it. I've worked with various artists as a devotee, and professionally for many years too, and you have something special going on here with your artwork. Keep going deeper and deeper into this career of yours. As a book designer myself, it is wonderful to see your meaningful art. This makes my work more fun and enjoyable. (Letter

Bumblebees. Ink and watercolor on paper. Nature is like an open
book about the divine origin and sacredness of life. One just needs to step
out there and open up one's heart, eyes and mind. |

| "The
lotus flower is an ancient symbol of liberation and healing. It is a deeply
honored plant in the cosmology of the Hindus, the Mayans, the Tibetans, the
Egyptians, the Japanese, and the Chinese. In the West, it holds the symbolism
of the hidden Centre. Lotus seeds can hold their potency for up to 400 years;
thus a seed fresh today can produce a lotus four centuries from now. Both the
lotus seed and root are valued for their rejuvinative and tonifying properties."
